What do I need to set up the Hue outdoor lightstrip?
Like all outdoor Philips Hue lights, the Hue outdoor lightstrip requires a Hue Bridge and the Hue app to function.
How long is the Hue outdoor lightstrip?
The Hue outdoor lightstrip is available in two sizes: two metres (6.5 feet) and five metres (16.4 ft). You cannot extend the outdoor lightstrip.

How close does the Hue outdoor lightstrip need to be to my Hue Bridge?
If the Hue outdoor lightstrip is your only Philips Hue light, it needs to be within 10 meters (32 feet) of the Hue Bridge. If you have more lights in your smart lighting system, the Hue outdoor lightstrip needs to be within at least 10 meters (32 feet) of one of your other Philips Hue lights.
